Russell Green River Works knife blades have been manufactured in the USA since the early 1800's. During the pre-1840's Fur Trade Era, these blades were transported by traders' pack trains from St. Louis, Missouri, to the mountain man summer rendezvous at Green River, Wyoming. The blades were purchased by fur trappers, along with other trade goods.

The handles on our knives are made and put on the Green River blades by Willow Bend staff. Tom and Will both have a hand in crafting the sheaths. The sheaths are elk rawhide with buckskin lining and fringe and pronghorn lacing. They are signed by Tom, Nancy and Will.

The sheaths come in natural light or the darker, walnut dyed. Although the knives in the photos are shown with a particular color sheath, customers can specify either light or dark sheath in the customer note.

$20 shipping has already been added to the price of these knife and sheath sets, so no additional shipping cost will be added.
